Biography

Christopher Sithole-KUSHATA is a corporate governance and credibility specialist with over 15 years of cross-sector experience spanning tourism, financial services, energy, media and e-mobility. As Acting Chief Executive of the Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe, he provides strategic policy guidance and brings extensive expertise in leadership development, corporate governance, change management and sustainable enterprise development.

• Acting Chief Executive, Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe (TBCZ)
• Over 15 years of cross-sector experience across tourism, financial services, energy, media and e-mobility
• Experience across Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania
• Provides strategic policy guidance for Zimbabwe’s tourism sector
• Leads the UZ-TBCZ-ZTA Leadership Excellence Training Programme
• Programme leadership supporting the development of over 3,000 industry executives
• Trained over 600 middle to senior executives in corporate governance and business integrity across Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania
• Secured 36-month continuous training contracts with four State-Owned Enterprises
• Raised over US$2 million in equity and grant funding for Mobility for Africa
• Author, The Credibility Manifesto Handbook™ (2023)
• Expertise in leadership credibility, corporate governance, change management and sustainable enterprise development
• MBA, University of Zimbabwe Graduate School of Management
• Bachelor of Arts Honours in Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Zimbabwe
